You wont know exactly where you are with Halifax until a full search is done on application.

If you have engaged a broker you should follow their advice, unless you do not trust them in which case change your broker.

We have not seen your files and do not know your case so cannot speculate as to whether Halifax will say yes or no.

my broker is quite sure it will go through , up to the point where he said he hasnt contacted the underwriters of halifax.

im just worried that Equifax and Experian make for very differnt readings ... my gfs credit score on experian is 905 and equifax is 261

mine in equifax is 439 and experian is 999

These credit score numbers are about as useful as a chocolate teapot - irrelevant to the Lender.

They do tell me however that your credit files require some further inspection before the next step.

A full app is not a soft search, it just has not appeared on your file yet.

I bought 18 month ago, no hard search ever appeared on Experian only soft
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
