PCNs with leased car

Hi, having not had a parking ticket for many years I have had 2 in the last month, one from Gemini for not displaying a permit on a private road and the other from Euro Car Parks for exceeding the 2 hr parking limit. What complicates this is that my partner leases the car so the notices have been sent through to him. I am not sure if he is the registered keeper or if the parking companies now see him as the driver even though it was me that was driving the car?

I have a rough idea of what to do next but just wondering if I need to do anything specific as the car is leased?

Also do I write the same template appeal letter for both tickets?

Thanks

Your partner should appeal straight away as keeper (as opposed to registered keeper) using all the points in the NEWBIES template appeal letter. The person leasing the car is the keeper, the lease company is the registered keeper, but in contract law you can safely appeal as keeper. Do not appeal as driver. Do not mention who was driving.

One appeal per ticket. That is very important.
