just sent off Letters of Admin forms, how long till interview?

im wondering how long it takes for the interview appointment to come through after sending the forms back. do they send you a specific date or can you phone them when ready?

    You just have to be patient. It really depends on the workload.

    yes its ok im not worried about time scales just whether or not I will get a chance to choose a date or not.

    The best thing is to give the Probate Office a ring. They are usually very helpful.

    If it works the same as swearing the oath for probate, you can choose to go to a local solicitor's and then you can pick your own date.

    If LofA is different and you have to go to the probate office, then they will send you an appointment. I'm sure if it's not at a convenient time you can change it, but that's why we went to a local solicitor's.
