My husband takes ages entering our email address. Is there any way you can attach it to one of the F keys or indeed any keyboard key so that it will just enter it when you press it?

Type it in a plain text file with notepad or similar. save.
Keep this file open at all times.
To retrieve it, switch to notepad with Alt+Tab, select it with Ctrl+A, copy with Ctrl+C, switch to where you want to put it, and paste with Ctrl+V.
It's a lot quicker to do than to type out, honest.0 -

A program called AutoHotKey should be able to do that for you:

(I haven't tried it myself.)0 -
I never type my email address out. I always copy and paste it from my Gmail tab that is always open.
(except on those annoying websites that don't allow you to paste!)Look at it this way... In a hundred years who's gonna care?0 -
Teach your husband to type a bit quicker.0

Some keyboards have additional feature keys that you can program with this sort of thing if you install the software.
Or try a clipboard manager like Clipmate which allows you to quickly paste template text.0 -
This works well for me in Chrome.
Bookmark any webpage
Edit title to E-mail or whatever you like.
Edit url to your email address.
When you need to use just copy and paste bookmark.
You will need to delete the / which will appear at end of your address.0 -
There is an extension for Google Chrome called 'Auto Text Expander' so that when you type something short like e@ it will automatically fill out your email address. If you are ok with google chrome (and installing extensions - which should be straight forward), this could be the perfect thing for you. PM me if you want, and I will help further.0

Or... register a domain with a short name and set up email using that. You could be x@jq8.co.uk. Maybe not that memorable, but fairly quick to type!
For April Fools' Day, you'll just have to send a spoof email to your hubby saying that his email address has been changed to one with this provider:
http://www.abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijk.com/
