Credit rating. Unpaid bills abroad

Hi All,

I've moved back to the UK after a 2 year stint in Portugal. I've paid all my outstanding bills however I'm expecting a large 500 Euro bill to be sent to my old Portuguese address. The bill is related to an internet and phone package.

I was wondering if my UK credit rating would be effected if I did not pay this bill?

It's not like me to not pay but to cut a long story short: I was told that if I left Portugal the contract would be invalid. When I went to cancel they told me the opposite. Hence, this hefty bill is coming my way and if I can get away with not paying it then I will!

Any advice would be great!
