Shower Hose Extender/Connector

I remember reading on here about a connector to join two shower hoses. Are these generally available from plumbers merchants?. I've found a few online but they seem pricey for what they are, especially when postage is added.

Unfortunately not. Thermostatic mixer tap/shower is under a sloping ceiling. The shower head needs to be fitted on the wall at the opposite end of the bath. Already got a 2.5 metre and a 1 metre hose so just need a connector.

You just need a 1/2 brass nipple. Screwfix sell them for about a quid. As do toolstation. Will be plain brass finish

You cold also use a chrome 15mm compression straights, threads not identical but similar enough for a shower hose
