It's nto exactly a scam but it is a way to try and get money off you. 'Get a free laptop if you do a, b or c' etc etc. Just ignore it. Also click on the http://www.consumersavingcentre.co.uk/u.cgi?config=1318
link and add your email in to stop getting the mail from them.

I knew it was something that was a bit suss! Mumenters loads of competitions online, so wondered if it might be something to do with that, then when I checked my email, I had one as well.

I get them regularly in my Spam folder, which is basically what it is, SPAM

I wouldn't advise clicking on any of those things on the bottom of SPAM to "remove you from their mailing list", it confirms to them they have hit on a real mail address that is getting read regulary, granted you *MAY* not get anything from them again, however its guarenteed the list they create from it will be sold to another company. A large list of regulary checked email addresses will make them a lot of money.... and the cycle continues....
