Two PCN's! Quick Question on Appeal Letter about to Email

Received two PCN's for the car park next to work I park in every day and have done for the past 12 months in the same space every day using a permit the company pays for that is actually double sided taped on the inside of my windscreen.

One is for 20th Jan and one is 21st Jan. I have read the Newbie thread and am about to appeal using the template letter as 'the keeper' - not saying I am the driver. I can do it on email - it is with Parking Eye.

Do I add in a bit that the keeper had on display a parking permit?

normally , PE use the online appeal system (on their website) or by post

I have not heard of them accepting appeals by email, so would advise you to check carefully

also I believe you would be stating THE DRIVER has a permit, and uploading a redacted copy or scan of it as proof (but not giving away the drivers details)

do not give away who was driving, this is a common mistake that people tend to make , hence why the appeals are from the keeper

do this twice, one for each appeal, using the different pcn numbers, one for each appeal
  • Sorry, yes I meant the appeal online function on PE. I have referred to the registered keeper all the way through and then I will upload the permit as being the drivers but not give the name away.

Morons, its in the same bl**dy space every day with the permit taped to the windscreen......
  • How annoying, they have a limit of 3000 characters, I exceed this by 300! Will have to post.

No you won't - come on! What do you think people do, they cut it down.

Jeez we've said this to about 4 posters today already. And you can cut out the ranting bits yourself. Don't ask for a shorter template or I think we'll all scream today.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • Do you think I would be better posting the two appeal letters in the same envelope or would you do them separate. Finally, I know it mentions not sending them recorded delivery - just get proof of postage then?

yes you can post both appeals in the same envelope, with free certificate of posting at the PO (not recorded)

you can appeal online though, and attach the appeals as word docs or pdf,s , meaning you do not have to cut them down at all - its not difficult so why make it so

its free to do this online, you know they have the appeals once submitted (so no lost in the post excuses) , so not sure why you are bothering with snail mail but do so if you wish

Apologies I did cut it down and emailed them. I took some of the ranting out and rephrased a couple of bits.

I doubt you emailed them, but as long as its been done online or by snail mail that is all that is needed

I have been issued a PCN - I have appealed online (email address given on the back of the notice) Should I receive a email received notification from them? - I have double checked the email address and requested a received receipt but not had anything back - How do I confirm for myself it has been received? 14 days is nearly up. Help????
