Switching Between Tariffs on Energy Club
I switched to the Sainsburys Fixed Price December 2015 dual fuel deal last month but have now found there's a cheaper tariff with the same supplier , the Fixed Price February 2016 deal. It's not on uswitch and another poster has pounted out that Sainsburys may not be able to switch you directly onto the tariff if its exclusive to the Energy Club.
So is it too soon to switch deals, will the Energy Club let me do the switch and does the exit penalty apply? Or the switch cashback?
And before anyone says why not just try it anyway, because its Sainsburys will it result in two credit checks in my recent credit history?

Hi Zagubov
You'll be able to switch tariffs with Sainsbury's through Cheap Energy Club - you're right, Sainsbury's won't be able to do this for you directly.
Sainsbury's have told us that exit fees will be waived for existing customers moving to this tariff, plus you'll be eligible for cashback.
Hope this helps.0 -

Thanks, that's good news. I'll just have to put up with the possible credit check (unless they get charged for it in which case they'll probably prefer not to.)There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Do you have anything in writing to confirm this, as I want to switch from Sainsburys Fixed Oct 15 to their Feb 16 product?0 -
