Travelling Alone

Hi Everyone

I have an extra week's Annual Leave to take and thought I'd take myself off for a week somewhere. Sometime between 27th Mar - 3rd Apr.

I've never travelled abroad before (usually have all the family with me) but they're all working so thought I'd treat myself. Something relaxing, I'm not sporty at all lol.

Where would you go for a week - somewhere sunny preferably. Budget around £500 for accommodation, approximately.

Thanks

Sal

It's the week before Easter so everything will be more expensive and you'll need to search out a place that isn't overrun with kids if you want relaxing. I would have suggested somewhere like Malaga, but I would imagine they have Semana Santa celebrations there so the place, like most in Spain, will be heaving and noisy. Maybe look at a Muslim country (Tunisia perhaps?) where Easter isn't an issue, although there will still be a lot of Northern European sunseekers around.

  • Personally it'd be north africa/ middle east given your budget was accommodation only and not flights.

Morocco or Egypt if you want the cheaper end of the scale
