in Credit cards
Hi all.
I have a Sky Card, with a £500 limit; this is my first credit card and ive had it since June this year. I have been told that in Septemeber, I will be able to increase my limit - depending on my credit limit.
Just a quick history, 1 student account with overdraft which is about to change into a grad account. Never been over limit on this or my sky card. On my sky card ive been near my limit and then paid my minumum payments + an additioanl payment of £100.
My question are, if I was to get a 2nd card now (and use it for purchases):
1)Would I be pretty much guarenteed another £500 limit?
2)If, it stick good with both cards, when the 0% purchases period runs out on both these cards would I be able to get a 3rd, with a 1K limit to transfer both balances on to? Or would this card also start at £500?
Thanks, very much appreciated.

Not knowing your individual circumstances, I'd still say that as long as you are on the electoral roll and your credit report is all in order (always worth checking) there shouldn't be a problem. It may also depend on whether or not you are currently earning, though, as if you're not earning, most people will not be so keen to extend credit to you.0
