Ultimate customer solutions debt letter

Received a letter from ultimate customer solutions to pay up £172 within 14 days.
This is from an unpaid parking fine from PCN (NW) LIMITED.

Slightly worried as to what to do now, as I definitely don't have £172 to pay.

Any advice / help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks x

Please read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky at the top of the forum index, one page back from here, use the Forum Jump button to navigate there.

You do need to read and understand just post #4 of that sticky as it will tell you anything and everything you need to know about debt collectors in the context of private parking charges.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

get a cardboard file and put all these DC letters into it for 6 years, along with any other paperwork - dont bother reading them

only deal with an LBC or court papers from the PPC or landowner or managing agent

It's just another debt collector letter so read post #4 of the NEWBIES thread & ignore these letters. Only take seriously real court papers and be aware that PCN(NW) are not the sharpest tools in the box. They tried a couple of small claims last year & dropped them when we helped people defend them - most people never get anything more than these silly letters.

Please read post #4 of the NEWBIES thread as we can't spend time just talking about these letters, that mean nothing at all and are already discussed a lot here. Sorry but ignoring means - simply ignoring them and stop worrying, nuff said!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Thank you, I'll sit tight and ignore them then. x

You should formally respond if it calls itself a Letter before Claim. See the 'LBCCC fightback' thread among Crabman's sticky threads near the top of this forum.
