It's just estate agent speak and I wouldn't make any assumptions beyond the fact that there is (probably) space for you to park one car - I say "probably" because it doesn't say it's your own personal parking space, it could be referring to the availability of street parking. I'd look up the property for myself on Google Earth or go round and see it.

I bought in W2, and "moments from Hyde Park" is used for nearly every property in the postcode, even the ones where it would take you fifteen minutes to walk it. If you were to buy one of the more distant ones with the expectation that you'd be able to send your kids over there to play for five minutes while you finish getting their tea ready, you'd be gutted.
  • I'd expect generous to at least two cars but ideally more. However, it's EA speak so I'd take it with a pinch of salt and go round to the house to investigate myself. I'll decide if it's generous or not!

I'd love to see a dictionary of all the phrases EAs use- none of which have any absolute or legally-binding meaning!

At least in your case they spelt 'generous' correctly - among my favourite meaningless boasts, spelling or grammatical faux pas are
    'sort-after area' ...
    'Comprised of '...
'well-sized'... (same size as a well?)
'in need of some updating'... (a wreck)

...and the only one of those phrases I would know how to interpret is the "sought-after area" = normal standard area (ie rather than The Pits).

Goodness knows what areas I personally would describe as "sought-after area" would be described as. Errrrm...= super/special/lovely perhaps?

Don't think that many agents would even know the word "generous", let alone know it's meaning...

"Generous parking provision" to me is enough space for n+1 decent sized cars where n is the number of double bedrooms.

Unfortunately, to an estate agent, it's generally "can fit a smart car if you want to squeeze down the side of it"
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all
