Hi
I had a RBS royalties gold account.I am now in going through the above company to get back the money i spent on this account.

has anyone on here had any dealings with them,good or bad.

i have their paperwork here but have not signed anything yet,its a no win no fee.They have told me that no money will come out of my account and it will be deducted from the money they get back from the bank,minus their 25% fee.I have already tried rbs for a refund,but they said NO.

any info or help much appreciated.

Two things to consider:

1) If RBS refused then you can't just get a second bite of the cherry with a claims company, they cannot do anything you cannot - RBS will most likely just point to their earlier rejection. If it was within 6 months you could have referred it to the FOS yourself for free and, if it is within 6 months, the claims company will just do that and get a chunk of refund for doing nothing
2) If it is over 6 months after a full and final rejection from the bank and the claims company find out you already complained they will probably bill you for wasting their time.

It would help also to explain why you complained (what reasons did you give) and what the bank said (plus when they rejected).

If in last 6 months just refer it to the FOS for free and don't use this company.
