Another vote for Lock and Lock. I considered the Systema mugs but I like to use rectangular boxes for efficient use of freezer space.0

Mine are like that too! I think it is because I overheat the soup as the White markings are where it most likely boils at the top! My lids are all stained too, from tomato based soups but I still used them0 -
Another one with stained/overheated Sistema.
Try Home Bargains, they have some very similar that are only 79p, had them for a couple of months and they are still fine.
HB also have ceramic cups with lids but they look really big and heavy.0 -
Thank you. Looks like its between lock and lock and Sistema.GC: Feb (16th Jan - 15th Feb) £46.25 / £50
Mar (16th Feb - 15th Mar) £61.96 / £700 -
I am voting for sistema. They do stain but I think they are really good quality.0

Try using Milton sterilising tablets to remove stains from plastic food containers. Put solution into container and leave overnight. You could use Milton fluid, I just find it easier to store the tablets.
I have read that spraying inside of your container with food oil spray before filling, will stop the container absorbing the colour. Whether this works or not, I have no idea.0 -
Maitane beat me to it another vote for Sistema noodle and soup bowls. I have a few now bought as Amazon add ons, TK Maxx sometimes have them too and Morrisons were doing an offer couple of weeks back....They freeze fine with the soup inside and I have never had the soup cup leak on me....:D
Yep, TK Maxx is my main supplier of Sistema. It's somewhat costly full price but it does stand up to going from freezer to bag to microwave.

ive got cheapo soup microwave mugs from poundland ... I fill them up then put a layer of clingfilm loosely over top - it stops it leaking plus keeps the microwave at work clean as theres no splatter!
if its a fairly liquid soup I heat it in the microwave at home and take it in a thermos ... its just the right temp by the time I get round to having lunchwading through the treacle of life!

I'm resurrecting this board with a request for any recommendations other than the Sistema one as I've had 2 which leak SO much! It might be because I walk with my soup in my backpack for an hour so maybe my use is a little more rugged (though I'm not mountain climbing!) than people who put it in the footwell of the car?
Any suggestions please?0 -
Have you tried these? I know they have been taken on 30 mile hikes on the moor without leaking. You would need to decant into a mug to drink though.
