PCN smart parking ticket (asda)

Hi, I have just recieved one of these, admittedly I forgot to put my badge in the window 😭, however, I was speaking to the local authority enforcement officer and he Said that they check the number plate and if registered as a disabled vehicle they tend not to place a ticket , I'm gutted about this, I intend to challenge it, is there anything specific I need to state in my letter ? I was on another thread but advised to start my own . Thank you in advance

quite right too, always start your own thread, not finding old threads that may no longer be relevant

wait for the NTK and then appeal using the template appeal in the NEWBIES sticky thread near the top of the forum, just above this one at the moment

read ALL of that sticky thread several times , tells you all you need to know

bear in mind the BB isnt relevant on private land, but the EA2010 is

also worth complaining to asda and insist on a cancellation

domt believe a word they say as regards checking number plates for tax purposes, its certainly not done by smart (although the council MAY do it) - this isnt council, so its irrelevant what a council employee says

But presumably yours was ONLY Smart Parking? EASY. They cancel when you send the appeal online, that's in the NEWBIES thread.

Oh, I thought their website had an appeals page? I've used it before.

There is an online appeals page. look on top right of their front page.

I know this because i did yet another myself only yesterday...demanding a popla code, but still never received one.

its not an email, its an online appeal using their website

an email comes from your email to somebody elses email, email is not used in this case

use the template letter from the NEWBIES sticky thread, either with , or without , the "rant parts" (so all the basics of that appeal template)

Yawn...we didn't say it was an email. And that's why I wrote everyone's first appeal in the NEWBIES thread so people wouldn't ask. It seems that no-one can write any more, I despair. Today has been particularly bad for people asking for template just to write a short email even, and others saying they can't be arsed to read the NEWBIES thread and want spoon feeding. Anyway it's all there for you. Please just don't ask 'is it this'? and copy the entire template out, can't stand it when people do that, I feel like saying 'no it's not' for a joke...

I'm defo in grumpy middle aged woman mode today - sorry but this is hardly difficult when the appeal is a standard template already here.
