Has anyone ever flown with them? What were they like? We have a flight to New York in February and just wondered what to expect as I've only flown long haul a couple of times and that was more than 10 years ago.

Airline Quality web site has reviews.0 -
Btw they're a no booze airline.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Basically you get what you paid for and nothing else. The airline only operates three days a week to JFK so keep your fingers crossed there is isn't a weather related delay. They are usually the cheapest on the route and when you fly them, you will see why. Having said that, they are safe and will get you there, just don't expect frills.0

With Kuwait it'll be exactly as you remember it ten years ago!

Flew that route in 2010.
Cheap as chips at the time and you could see why, plane needed refurb and not all in flight entertainment worked.
That said we got there and back no bother and like I say couldn't get near the price anywhere else.
Personal choice on risk v reward, as commented earlier there are limited flights so any problems and you'll be let down.0 -
I'm a regular with easyjet and the like and personally can't wait for them to start flying transatlantic so I suspect I'll be fine.
I'm not a drinker on flights- it makes me really unwell!
Sounds like it'll be fine to me.0 -
Rambo, have you watched any of the video's for Kuwait airline.....its' had me in stitches, you need to see it to believe it. Vintage stuff, I'd rather stay home, I'm not convinced, BUT having said that, new plane doesn't necessarily mean SAFE!
May God/The Fairies/Buddah/Allah whoever be with you.

I flew with them a few years ago when the weather in NY was very bad. The flight wasn't cancelled, but when we landed at JFK they made us wait on the taxiways for about 5 hours, then another 2 hours or so at the gate before they could actually let anyone off the plane. Staff were not helpful and did the absolute minimum to look after the passengers. Guess you get the service you pay for.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0
