Cheap Energy Club Collective deal -- Just checking okay to switch again

Hi,

I'm on the CEC Collective Eon tarriff, having completed the switch in December. The new CEC Collective Sainsbury's deal will (according to the calculator) save another £200 from that.

With the £30 cashback (and subtracting the £10 exit fees) from Eon that's obviously worth it, but it seems very soon to be switching again. Is it okay to make the switch to Sainsbury's. Is there a Fuel industry equivalent of a credit rating???! ;)

Be seeing you,

Ben

    Hi Ben

Absolutely - each time you switch through Cheap Energy Club you'll eligible for £15 per fuel cashback. You're free to switch as often as you like.

I am about to switch to an E.oN fixed tariff and I can see no mention of a Sainsbury's better deal. I would be interested in seeing the tariff details.

    Hi Hengus

It should show up on your results page in Cheap Energy Club.
  • Sainsbury deal doesn't show up on mine either,. it only shows the green star deals, which are £200+ more expensive than my current deal lol,

so much for being "CHEAP energy club" lol

I believe the cashback terms and conditions for the cheapEnergyClub limit the £30 payout to one switch per year?

  • having looked further into it, the Sainsbury deal is Not for people with just Electricity,

explains why its not showing up.

I wonder if this is because of your payment type - the Sainsbury's tariff is only available for monthly direct debit. If you change this filter on your results page it should show up.

This was changed last year - it is no longer limited in this way.

Thanks Dan. The first tariff for Sainsbury's that appears on my list is 10th in the pecking order. It is just that the £200 savings seem a little high to me. If true, the collective switch to E.oN wasn't a particularly good deal! Or, am I missing something?

PS Just noticed that E.oN has brought out v15 with a £10 annual saving for me.

I,m currently on the Eon v.14 which is £922 a year if I stick to last years consumption so alls good anyway
