Anyone Used Cheap Ebay Carbon Handlebars?

It was more i just thought i'd found a bargain and wanted to gauge opinions before buying them.
I don't like the OEM bars on my hybrid (straight & short) and want to try some riser bars instead. If these were good quality and i didn't like them on my hybrid i'd have fitted them to the mountain bike insteadAll your base are belong to us.0 -

I'm just worried that if i buy a cheap set of alloy ones to try, i'll have the same type of risk involved, and if i buy an expensive set, fit them and then don't like how they feel i potentially wasted a bit more money.
For the price of the cheap carbon handlebars, you'd have your choice of alloy bars as that's a normal price range for them so there isn't the same risk plus any damage or fracturing on alloy bars will be much easier to see. On-One have a good range for low prices:

Are you accounting for the rise changes in riding position?
Maybe worth swapping with your MTB first.
You can get a new Easton riser bar on Ebay for £250 -
Yeah, it's the riding position i'm not enjoying on it so much because i feel i'm too low at the front.
I'm thinking perhaps narrow risers might work best. All your base are belong to us.0 -
would changing the rise on the stem work for you?0

I've no idea. The mountain bike's riding position is much comfier but the whole handlebars sit higher because of the high position of the headtube on it's frame. I could add in some more spacers to the hybrid headset as well but i need my arms to be raised slightly i think. All your base are belong to us.0

Thinking more of changing stem. Thing is an MTB riding position is less efficient for commuting style riding.
If its a case of not being used to it(imagine being on the drops of a road bike for lower position) then a small rise in stem may suffice and allow you to drop back later.0 -
If the stem needs changed i'll do that as well.
I went for these bars in the end
