I'm having the same problem, left Scottish Power December - still waiting for the credit amount to be settled. They did take one extra direct debit too - I seem to have got that sorted however (still keeping a close eye on bank account).

Raised a complaint - got a number and everything, according to their procedures I should receive an update or something within ten working days. Strongly suspect I'll need to drop an email out to the CEO - really don't want to have to log anything with the Obudsman, it shouldn't be this hard to sort something like this out.

In a state of shock here! I got an e-mail today saying my final bill had been processed and it had been sent to me by post. The credit due, which was as expected, would be sent by cheque and to give it up to 20 days.

Was surprised at the mention of bill by post as my account is still open on-line and I get bills through it, but checked account and bill is showing there (3 times actually - twice in bills section and once in messages), so OK there. Was also surprised at ref to cheque in post as my DD is still open waiting for refund, so checked bank account and refund has been paid in to DD.

Has taken 3 months, but finally settled. Will now cancel DD in case anything else goes wrong.

For those of you still waiting, there is light at the end of the tunnel!!
