Fluid card cash transfer

Hi guys,

I recently got accepted for a Fluid card, made the application following the advise of another member on another thread as it seemed more suited to my needs than withdrawing from a credit card, which is also more costly, so big appreciation to that member.

Anyway, I needed the funds within a few days of the application to pay some bills. However, the application was made on Friday and the card will arrive 7-10 days from then (pretty long if you ask me, but hey, glad to be accepted). But as part of the application process on Friday, I was asked if I wanted to transfer any cash into my bank account and I entered an amount and completed the application. Since then, I've been regularly checking my bank account balance to see if the money has arrived, but nothing so far.

So has anyone had experience of getting the Fluid card and know how long I have to wait for the cash transfer to arrive into my account? Do you have to wait for the card to arrive first and activate it (still a few days away)? I mean, why ask me if I want a cash transfer if it will arrive after receiving the card. The impression I got from the site was that the transfer would be immediate.

I think mine took a week (including the weekend) from MBNA (same issuer)

Thanks. I guess 7-10 days does really mean 7-10 days. Hopefully it'll be 7 rather than 8, 9 or 10. Oh well, not too far away now. Cheers again.
