Chicago show and hotel

Hi
My daughter (aged 17) and I would like to spend a night at a London hotel on August 8th and see Chicago in the evening.
Our dilemma is where to stay and whether it is better to buy a show and hotel package of cheaper to buy them separately.
I would appreciate any recommendations, especially hotels to stay at, as we will be 2 females alone in the big city of London (scary for us).
Price is a factor too but not an overriding
one.
Thanks!!

After having my doubts about http://www.lastminute.com, have you tried them? I'm led to believe their seats and accommodation are quite good. I used http://www.theatrebreaks.com recently.Hindsight is a wonderful thing0

Thanks! I wasn't sure about lastminute. I wondered if they provided the best seat tickets or the ones that were not so good.0

Well like I say I was very doubtful of lastminute because I thought they gave out what seats were left (I am very fussy and like to sit in stalls/dress circle and have a good view). I personally have never used them but I have been corrected a couple of times on here as to their service explaining that they are ok - price wise i'm sure they could offer you a good deal. Try and find out where your seats are first before purchasing anything and shop around.Hindsight is a wonderful thing0
