State Pension to Bank

I have a Barclays persona bankl account - zero interest rate.
I will soon be eligible for the state pension.
I was thinking of having it sent to my bank account, but I don't like the zero interest.
Can anyone suggest a better alternative. I would like as much access as possible, and it should be instant?
Thanks
Ps. The account is alright for my present purposes - small balances. But it might be better to have a second account for the pension.

For balances of up to £2000 you would be best to have a TSB current account, as that pays 5% interest on balances up to £2000.0
