Here is a link to the page. Scroll down to where it asks you to upload the proof of purchase. What did you upload?

I'm not sure why you think your bank details would count as proof of purchase? How would Sony know (or even care) how you paid John Lewis for the camera? All they want to know is that you DID buy the camera, hence the need for a receipt upload.

Well if I wait till the ten days have passed for an answer I will have no chance as the window will be closed.
If you are really concerned about that, and I can understand why you might be, why don't you contact them?

    Their T&Cs say:
    18. Should you have any queries in relation to your claim, please phone us on 0207 365 2810(UK) and 01 413 1771 (Republic of Ireland) or contact us via online website at https://www.sony.co.uk/support/en/contacts/email or https://www.sony.ie/support/en/contacts/email(IE)

Why when they can just harp on about it on here and not be proactive in their claim?

Did you add the receipt as gik has pointed out?

Slightly O/T how come you seem to have so many consumer rights issues?

    Does make you wonder ;)
OP just incase you still havent read it

Regardless of the type of Product that you are claiming for please
    complete your claim online at
    the following
    URL
    www.sony.co.uk/imagi
    ngcashback
    or
    www.sony.ie/imagingcashback
    for
    Republic of Ireland.
You will need to include electronically the
    UK serial number
    of the product
    ,
    together with
    a copy of
    your original printed sales
    receipt to
    claim your Cashback

Probably still worth ringing them though

When I submitted the form I was not asked for, nor did I see any request of uploading a receipt. I have since sent them one via email (proof of purchase withing the time limit) They also state that all claims should be in no later than 25th Feb. I will give them a ring.

Why do some people struggle to admit they're wrong?

It clearly says you must provide proof of purchase in the form of the original receipt...

    No, you are mistaken.

    Their T&Cs, term 4, say:
All claim forms submitted in respect of the Cashback Promotion should be received by midnight on 25th February 2015. No claims will be accepted after this date.

I just rang them and the guy on the other end said they have received the proof of purchase and it should be validated in the next day or so.

    Thanks for the help.
