    Looks like you have nothing to worry about. It was effectively signed off by your line manager. If there is a problem at higher management level then she will get the blame.

    I am not so sure - if so, why didn't the supplier ask the manager to change the review (as they are the more senior person) ?


    OP - did you sign off the supplier review ?


    You need to bear in mind that you were asked to review the supplier on behalf of the company you work for (this was not a personal or individual review).


    Your comment about your manager "authorising" what you have written - do you have this confirmation in an e-mail ?


    This is one of those occasions that mostly go ok and work themselves out, although every now and again it all goes wrong (you know - supplier speaks to company MD/Owner, who then speaks to manager (who denies all knowledge of such authorisation) who then speaks to employee and decides that "it isn't working out" - particularly if the employee has less than 2 years service).


    Sorry to be so cynical, but from personal experience and also from reading this forum for a few years it does make you over-cautious.
