Help please! - Hospital - Parking Eye

On Thursday I had a fall at work, DH collected me and took me to our local minor injuries, whose carpark is operated by Parking Eye. He had no money on him, so text the number on the info board - so we thought it was sorted.

Today, we have had to visit another local hospital (it's not our year ), and again it is a Parking Eye car park. For our morning visit (yes one dept in the am and another in pm), he had change and used the machine (ticket has been kept). PM no change so text again, only this time he realises that the text he sent on Thursday didn't respond as this one had, and upon checking his phone, he can see that he text the site number by mistake.

So my question is: is there anyway to retrospectively pay for our parking on Thursday? - it was a genuine error and the fee would have been about £2 - could really do without being landed with a £70 fine

TIA

you cannot receive a "fine" , PE cannot "fine" you

all I would do is wait and see if an NTK arrives within the standard 14 days, then appeal it if it does appear , using the template letter

I doubt there is a way of them allowing retrospective payments , the more money they collect the happier they are

Ok, thank you. Was hoping I could reduce some stress in our household.

Many thanks for responding so promptly.
  • Wait for the NTK, whilst waiting read the newbies thread post#1.

Use the information there to appeal to the PPC.

Parking Eye have been folding recently when they see a forum based appeal.

If not you then appeal to POPLA and with help from here you win

It will be stress free - they'll cancel when they see the first appeal (shorten it to fit their webpage) form the NEWBIES sticky thread at the top of this forum. Easy.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
