The OP said 'soon' not 'in due course#' £500 is not a 'fair bit of damage' if main dealers are involded, not when the are charging £90 an hour x
Move on and learn from it
Agreed, two very small broken pieces of plastic in my car resulted in the need for a complete new set of headlights, quoted by a Ford dealer as £627 - I went through my insurance instead as that was just the start of the costs.0
