New build - negotiating extras

We have found a house in a new development that we wish to buy, the house is all ready to move into (flooring fitted as well)
The problem is we don't like the kitchen cupboards or the choice of flooring downstairs. Do you think we will have any luck in getting them to replace the kitchen and the flooring if it's already been installed/fitted?
Thank you in advance

I don't think they will change them, you might be able to negotiate a bit of a discount tho if it's all ready & they are keen to sell.
I'm waiting to exchange on my new build, we bought off plan and got stamp duty, upgraded kitchen, dishwasher, washer & fridge freezer, turf, outside tap & carpets thrown in.
But in the end we upgraded the carpets & had amtico put everywhere else so still cost us a fortune0 -
Wouldn't think so, it will be sold as seen in that respect, as any non-new build would be0

No chance at all I am afraid.
Well possibly for a massive sum of money that they would make clear is totally non-refundable even if you don't complete on the house.0 -
I very much doubt it.
When we agreed to buy our house,( It was not yet decorated) we were told it was too late to choose upgraded bathroom suite, tiles and kitchen units as the basic choice was already fitted.0 -
I don't think you have a hope, the market is quite bouyant for new builds at the moment, and I think they will just wait for someone else to come along.0

No it's too late in the build stage. However if it's ready to go and they want to shift it you might be able to get a good discount. Just depends on how well they are selling.0
