Hello everyone, well done on all the extra pennies.
Sometimes I join this challenge and at other times I just lurk as I'm not making the commitment to put so much effort into it.
Over time I have learnt a lot from this thread, like asking mortgage companies and other companies for compensation.

I have just sold my car on ebay for £100 by the buyer is refusing to pay by paypal. He said he will only pay in cash on collection. I have never sold a car on ebay before and I wonder if this is some kind of scam? If anyone has any advice, I'd be grateful.

Apart from the car sale, I haven't made much this month. I did get a little from Quidco.

he may not have a paypal account, some people don't trust paypal. but then he can turn around and say that he never gave you any money and it was a gift or he could goto ebay and say loads wrong with car.

I would get something in writing, like bought as seen, so if he doesn't check the car etc, you are covered, and if he does, you are still covered.

then have someone witness the cash transaction and write a receipt that you both sign saying payment received in cash, and signed by your witness, one copy to you, one copy to them. make sure someone is present with you when they are buying the car, your witness to any dodgy dealings.

Well done on selling the car. No experience of selling a car on eBay but there's an eBay board somewhere on MSE and there's bound to be someone there who can help you.

I wouldn't know if its a scam or not but maybe the buyer wants to actually see the car 'in the flesh' before parting with the money. Just a thought. Does he have much positive feedback?

    Good Luck

Hi everyone, haven't been keeping track of my earnings this month so have just made a note and here's what I have from February so far:

£15 Swagbucks, £9 Pinecone, £1.17 Qmee, £9 Mysurvey, £12 Ebay, £3.86 Apptrailers and £27.19 from Clixsense so £77.22 so far this month and still have overtime to come. :)

Edit: I think my overtime should be £367.25, so will hit my target on pay day. :)

Edited again cause I missed out a payment from Pinecone. :)
