you have 3 choices..
1. pay it.. get your ncb you had at the start of the policy (minus any for claims etc)

2. dont pay it, end up being chased for it, possibly taken to court/ccj etc and they hold hostage your ncb.

or 3. maybe even leave the policy running and obtain another years ncb (dependant on how you "scrap" your car

I did not make a single claim on the motor insurance policy.

Yes - PayPal added somebody else's debit card without my or their permission. Hard to believe but true!

Take them to court, it's unreasonable of them to expect you to read what you're signing up for.

My bank advised me to to do this. I spoke to somebody in the fraud section and the noises they made suggested this wasn't an isolated case. I am jumping to conclusions though.

I must confess my opinions of such large organisations are rather clouded lately, but a lot of the things which happen are so wrong on many levels.

Belonged to a family member? I suspect it was used to pay for goods through one paypal and the pre-clicked option of saving details wasn't unchecked.

These were two independent PayPal accounts which only ever had one debit card registered. It couldn't happen / shouldn't have happened.
