Getting a pre contract after maternity cover

Me and my partner have a mortgage in principle but the only stumbling block is that she is on maternity cover. The bank have said that is fine as as she has been in the same industry for more then 5 years. We have a friend who owns a multitude of companies and was thinking would it be possible to get this friend to say that they are going to employ my partner after her maternity cover ends? This would obviously look good to the bank as she has employment after her maternity cover. (I am fully aware this is probably not legitimated and she would have a job by the time it ends) but no cb have in her finding a job that's haloy to wait 3 months for her to leave her current job.

I'm not fully clear what you're saying - but if you ask your friend to make a false statement (about potentially employing your partner) in order to help you secure a mortgage, that would be fraud.
Fraud is a criminal offence.0 -
If she is on maternity leave, then she should be able to return to her previous job at the end on the same pay and conditions as before. No need to commit fraud.0

It's fine so long as you don't mind risking a criminal conviction and blacklisting that ensures you can never get a mortgage again.
If you meet the lender's requirement of 5+ years in the same field, why add a lie on top of the truth? The bank have said it is fine so why mess about?0 -
if your friend has a multitude of companies, could he not actually give her a job, instead of just lying about it?0
