Kaspersky Internet Security 2015

I am really hoping to get some easy to follow advice here regarding this anti virus package. I have used it for a number of years now and never had any issues with virus's, unlike when I had either Norton or McAfee. I also get it free through my online banking which is great.
The problem started with the 2014 version where it does not carry out the scheduled scans you set it to do. I asked Kaspersky direct about this but absolutely no help. I eventually found some info that it was a glitch and should iron itself out for the 2015 version.
So this week I got my next free years subscription activation code, completely uninstalled it from my system (Windows 8.1) and re installed the 2015 version. After activating it I set up the scans, a quick scan every day, full scan once aweek and a vulnerability scan once a month.
I sat back waiting for the scan to start and nothing, it doesn't do it. I double checked the setting and it is correct but just not carrying out the scheduled scans.
We have this package on 3 laptops in the house and it is the same for all 3 - no scheduled scans being carried out. 2 laptops are using 8.1 and 1 is on Vista.
I have contacted Kaspersy (again) and received no support just told to reinstall it and start again - it doesn't solve the issue.
Does anyone else have this problem with it? If so have you managed to rectify it and how?
Thanks in advance

Have you tried the Kaspersky user forum ??
Must admit its a nuisance but i can put up with it as i want less scans .0 -
Strange.
I have use Kaspersky for over 20 years and never had any issues. the only current issue is that i have the win 10 tech preview which it is not compatible with. I asked Kaspersky about this as i first i did not know this was the issue and i have 5 months left on my KIS licence. Kaspersky say it will be compatible once win 10 is released and for me to let them know and they will issue me with a new licence key so i dont lose out the 5 months i still have. so i cannot fault kaspersky support for the times i have had to contact them.0 -

You have the same issue then?
I did try the Kaspersky user forum but got nothing except uninstall and re install, which doesn't make any difference.
I also tried Kaspersky direct, it took 2 months for them to answer and offered no solution to it when they answered.0 -
