Selling foriegn currency

I have some euros I want to convert back to sterling. The local travel agents rates are awful, so I was wondering, can anyone recommend how to get the best exchange rate back into sterling?

  • Sell them to mates going on holiday soon. Offer them the same rate as they would get at the bank but they don't then have to pay commission.

M&S have the best rate that you will easily get commercially. Selling them privately (should be easier with €€ than most currencies) is the best idea.
