Hi looking for some advice. Started my IVA June 2008 , it is now complete and at the end of last year I received my completion letter/certificate. Now I'm looking to try and repair my credit.

So it's nearly 7 years since I started it , I am going to credit check myself with Experian, but should this have come off my credit file now ???

Do I need to contact the credit agencies and give them a copy of my letter/completion cert , if so which are they , I know of Experian , but any others ???

Also what is the best way to try and rebuild my credit , I've heared of people getting a credit card to use for food/petrol then fully pay need of each month , what are the best ones to apply for ???

Any help would be great thanks :)
