Outstanding default account

I have a defaulted RBS account which is now with Wescott.
i am currently paying this off and have roughly £1300 remaining.
I can't find this account on my noodle report.
How can I find out the default date?
I'm aware I still need to pay this even if it has been removed from my credit report.
If this has been removed or is due to be removed will it have a bad effect on my report if I stick to my minimum payments instead of paying extra to clear it sooner?
Thanks for any help

Not all companies report to Callcredit/Noddle. Check Experian and Equifax as well.
Once removed how you pay it off won't matter as nothing about it will be recorded on your report any more. Prospective lenders won't even see that it ever existed.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Thank you, is there any way I can find out the default date? Will the collection company know this information?0

I've checked Equifax and am awaiting the experian report. Still no sign on the 2 I have checked!
If it hasn't already dropped off all 3, will it drop off after 6 years if I an still paying it??
Thanks0 -
If it's not on any report then I wouldn't worry about it.
Yes, should it be on a report it drops off after 6 years NO MATTER WHAT.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
