Upvc french doors in house. Handles broken and they also let in a draft. I would certainly need to replace 4 sets of handles. The catch does not line up also when u close the doors. The hinges are at the maximum adjustment so I'm stuck with them as they are.
My question is are they worth replacing.. It's a new house we have moved into so will be redecorating, and buying new things. I know I'm not going to see a return in money through energy saved but are they much more efficient than 10 years ago and worth purchasing with the new 10 year guarantee.

Age is not the only factor in the equation. If it is a ten year old door that was to the latest standards at the time then there will be little difference. If is a ten year old door that was made in a garden shed to no standards at all then that is different.
Then one has to consider that not all new doors have a ten year guarantee. Even those that do may have the ironmongery guaranteed for only 1 or 2 years, and sealed units guaranteed for only five years.
Then for most people the guarantee lasts as long as the installer remains in business, or trading under the same name. Which is often not too long.
Hence on the information you have supplied there is no definitive answer to your question. But were I in your position I would be trying to sort out the existing doors.0
