Halifax Reward direct debits

Moving everything to Santander 123 and just keeping my Halifax Reward account for the £5.


are 2 direct debits to pay 2 different credit card bills elegible for halifax reward £5 and do they have to actually pay something each month?


And any way to pay the due amount automatically into the Reward account or will I have to do it manually each month?

If you mean the minimum monthly credit, then I think a Standing Order at another bank account is automated enough.

Re "pay the due amount automatically into the Reward account", you can schedule a monthly standing order of £750 (or any other set figure) from Santander to Halifax, but if you mean the amount due on your credit cards then I presume that will vary from one month to the next?
