If Dear Simon issues proceedings north of the border he is still going to have to show what steps he has taken in an effort to minimise his losses. After all, this girl isn't paying and nor has she - the implication that she has been ignoring things hoping they would go away. SR-S's company have been blythely issuing PCN's for over a year and have not made any efforts beyond their useless printed drivel to address the problem? Someone lives in cloud cuckoo land. Anyone would think that the issuer believed they had the powers of a local authority, for example, where enforcement is a paper exercise?My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
