Replacing shower with bath quote

Options
We are in the process of getting some quotes to replace our shower with a bath. It will have to be a 1500 bath as the area is quite small. We have had one quote for £1400 just for the labour and for us to supply the parts. If they were to supply the parts as well then they have quoted £2350. This is what they had on the invoice for work that needs doing. We are based in Bedfordshire. Does this seem high or about right?

- Remove the shower enclosure
- Cut the wet wall panels to gain access to remove the shower tray
- Remove the basin
- Install new bath
- Cut hole in the boxin to gain access to the pipes and run left to the wall
- Reinstall basin on the other wall and fill the hole
- Install side and end bath panels
- Silicone seal around the bath
- Fill hole with cream silicone where there are holes from the old shower enclosure
- Remove all associated waste
- Price includes all labour and plumbing consumables (copper pipe, waste pipe, adhesive, etc)

Initial thoughts are that it is expensive. 1400 to do it and 2300 to supply the stuff is certaintly over the top when the bath and fittings, pipes etc could all be bought for less than 250.

    I would get another quote.
