Overseas property agents

Options
I have been trying to sell my overseas property for a couple of years and have been led a merry dance by various agents. Many of whom have asked for large sums of money to promote my property. However, I feel if an agent is getting the commission and I have provided descriptions and photos I should not have to pay extra. As till yet I am unscathed, but sick of time wasters.

I have now been put into contact with WORLDWIDE GROUP ENTERPRISES LTD based in Newry NI. I have looked a the site but I cannot find any information about the owners of the company. Does anyone know them, and have they acted for you and if so what were they like. Any info would be good. Thankyou, you savvy lot!

Where is the property? NEVER pay upfront for an empty promise.
Have you met anyone who has had a house sold by these people?
Do not rely on on line reviews, there are companies out there that will fix these for a fee!
Look at agents who have a presence on the ground nearby.
  • I have never dealt with them, nor heard of them, but a quick search shows they were incorporated in October 2008 and currently have 2 directors Scana Talbot and Cathal McCoy, who have never been directors of other companies. There are no outstanding mortgage charges nor CCJs listed, and according to company check have a net worth of £98K.

HOWEVER - on companies house the company is listed as having a business activity of WEB PORTALS, not PROPERTY or ESTATE AGENTS (what you would expect). It may be that the website is simply a listing site... more research required
