resistors - safe against skin ?

  • If you're dealing with resistors, or anything else intact, you should be OK. Don't be tempted to break electronic components open however, unless you know what you're doing, as some devices such as RF power parts contain beryllia. (Beryllia is a ceramic which is carcinogenic if the dust is inhaled, ingested, or gets into an open wound.)
