What I would like to know is can they legally issue me with a CCJ? or is this simply a ploy to get me pay?

Question and answer in the same sentence!;)

The initial letter is from DRP, Debt Recovery Plus, which states at the bottom of the 4th paragraph in bold A Court Judgement against you could seriously affect your ability to obtain credit, prior to this it states "we will pass your file to the creditor's solicitor with a recommendation to commence court action against you."

It appears DRP are stating the next stage is a CCJ once they put forward this recommendation to their clients solicitor. I am fully aware of what a CCJ is and my concern is the potential impact these muppets could have to my credit file. This was a windscreen ticket at Park Royal London. Could you please elaborate on LBA, MCOL?

    1. If you are so aware of what a CCJ is, please tell us how one is 'acquired'?
    2. What 'potential impact' do you think 'these muppets' (DRP) could (possibly) have on your credit rating?
    3. You say you are aware of issues regarding CCJ et al, yet seem blissfully unaware of what LBA or MCOL are. Have you typed the acronyms into Google?

    Interested in your reply.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Why do you keep coming back with the same questions about debt collectors?
You have been told they cannot do anything and only threaten, its a nice easy money earner for them from silly people that wobble and cave in.
You do not have a personalised letter, its a template designed to intimidate, you were told this before, and its all over the forum if you look.
I have five of them from three years ago, DR+ and their altar ego Zenith, please stop worrying, and it's only UKPC anyway, who have been to court twice, when THEY were taken there by Trading Standards, and a person fed up with their empty threats on his parking place.
You keep asking for help, then ignoring the advice, please stop over thinking this.
