How much for a new front door?

I'm looking for a ballpark figure for a new front door that will keep the draughts out and be insulated (we have no porch and the front door is in the lounge). Probably a glass-reinforced polyester type door, as I've heard they're good thermally. Does anybody know roughly how much these cost?
I've tried asking a few companies but they won't tell me anything because they are "bespoke" companies and to provide a quotation requires a salesman to come and discuss my needs (er, it's a front door, standard size). I can't be bothered to accommodate a salesman coming round to find out if it might cost £100 or £1000.

This site http://www.valuedoors.co.uk/ will give you a fitted price for different types of doors from the cheapest upvc to a high security rock door with all the different styles and options
You dont need to put up with a "salesman" coming round with their "buy today" discounts
I can recommend this firm too as I have had 2 doors fitted by them and very happy with both0 -
The local advertising booklets being put through my letter box show composite front doors at £800, supplied and fitted. A choice of colours and designs is offered. Pvc front doors are cheaper, but are not the current "must have".0
