This thread insults those whose religion forbids consumption of the unclean.
I don't want to boar anyone, but too many here sow discord by hamming it up at every opportunity. Boy swill be boys, but we all know who the gilty ones are

Can't see how we have insulted anyone! The question was a fair one, money saving by not buying, frying and binning! Anyway, thanks for all your comments, both light hearted and serious, very helpful.

That bacon looks amazing. Trying to work out how to order online. Any idea who stocks it in Belfast?

I actually didn't like it and much preferred the bacon I get locally.

If your bacon is too salty it's usually a sign of being frozen

I rarely buy bacon now but when I do its dry cure. A lot more expensive but seeing as it's not full of water it holds its size so a slice of back does a sandwich where as a supermarket brand may take up to three slices

Have a read of the ingredients for your 'bacon' (you never told us where it was from) - has it actually been smoked, or is it just swimming in flavourings?

That hand animation within your profile is very annoying and makes it difficult to concentrate on the content of your post.
