A trust can in principle be arranged to give the money in a form which will not affect benefits.
This could pay for certain items.
As long as you never have access to the money - it will not in general affect benefits.0 -
For ESA(IR),IS and JSA purposes if your Mum wanted to give you a regular voluntary payment for benevolent purposes e.g. £200.00 per month and expected nothing in return, the payment would be disregarded as income, obviously if the income increased your capital to over £6000.00 it would affect your benefit.0
