SSE prepayment meter help please.
Hi there all,
I'm hoping someone might be able to help me with my prepayment meter with southern electric.
I'm starting to think there might be a problem with it as this morning the meter cut off at 8:20am, I was on emergency credit but I thought they weren't supposed to go off until 9am? I've read some companies are even later in the winter, I can't find any info on southern electrics website about the cut off times, I'm wondering if anyone here is with them and may know.
I was always under the impression of you use all your credit between 6pm onwards it won't cut off completely until 9am next day so you are safe throughout the night.
Thank you for reading.

Once your credit runs out, it cuts off.
There are no cut off times that I am aware of.0 -
There must be, as I've had like 10p at 8pm before and it hasn't gone off0

The new 'friendly' pre-pay meters do have certain times when they won't cut you off, like at night. I believe it's supposed to be 9am, but I'm not sure if all pre-payment meters support this.
Does your meter have the right time?Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0
