Hi fellow savers
Has anyone used an online estate agency to sell their home? I'm tempted to give it a shot. Any advice? Been looking at emoov and housesimple.
Cheers

I often wonder if people would speak to others in the manner that some people do on here in real life!
If there are a 'hundred zillion million squillion' other threads on this topic already, why not be helpful and direct the OP to where he/she could find them rather than berate them??
As it happens OP, my friends used an online estate agency and didn't have a great success with them - BUT - their house was in a new build estate where building was still going on in a not-so-desirable area. So in hindsight, they would have been better with an agent that could have 'pushed' it a bit better.
I am looking into using an online agent because I know my area and how in demand these houses are, so considering taking a punt.
If you know your area is in demand and popular, it may just be worth the £3/4/500 that an online agency will cost.
