I have just been to log on to my online banking but it looks different, has anybody else seen any other differences. I don't want to go any further in case mine has been hacked

It was changed about a week or so ago, probably to make it more mobile (smartphone & tablet) friendly. Just double check that you are on genuine site…… http://www.co-operativebank.co.uk ……You should be fine.

Yes, they've been notifying us for a few weeks that changes were coming. I hardly ever use it as the phone version is simple and easy to use. It does look a bit odd though, doesn't it, a strange font or something.
  • I took the plunge on logged on and I hate it. The reason you have different accounts is to separate things for budgeting eat now all direct debits and pay bills etc are all listed together.
    How it that useful.

Perhaps its designed for the majority of us that just use the one account for everything?

This sort of thing can easily happen if you (ab-)use bank accounts for purposes they were never designed for in the first place.

Get yourself a proper budgeting app, then it doesn't matter if banks change their online presentation (which they will all do now and then).
  • I don't need a budgeting app. We have a joint account and a personal account. How is the abusing banks?

The latest Co-op online banking service is a bit better and at least cosmetically is an improvement. However it is still miles behind services from Nationwide and Natwest. For example mortgages are not seen within Co- op's service.
Hoping this year is better than the last. :)

From what you said before, you do need a budgeting app.

But even if you don't have separate accounts, a budgeting app is a good idea. For most people. Alternatively, you can do budgeting with a spreadsheet or even pen and paper. But a purpose-designed budgeting app makes it all so much easier.
