I have now At last opened my Tesco joint internetsaver & funded with the £1 & linked to my natwestt current account of 40 years.

question!.
How many d/d can you have coming out of one account?, if it's numerous then surely I only need one internet Tesco saver, for the future investment that I am going to pick from the ones on offer,

Question!,
I have £31k in the Yorkshire bank on a 40 day notice account 2%, can you please advise me the best , either to leave it where it is or invest elsewhere ?, and take in to account that I am a non tax payer.

Also we have another 12k matures 1 may 2015 in isas at Santander, ways the rates are heading I think that is going to come out of the tax shelter also.

I know I have covered some of this ground before , but now its getting crunch time & I am really trying to get it together, the mind boggles & all that .

We have the 123 Santander.
We have first direct.
We have tsb.
We have nsi

If you suggest lloyds , which product is the best of all ?, as it's confusing to me.

Just a thought. If I have already got isas with Yorkshire bank will that then cancel me out on anything that's on offer from that bank?,
Ie. current account etc,

Thankyou for helping me decide again,

Mr bean

Really? I must have missed that!

You're lucky the people on here give their time and help for nothing, because if you were paying for the services of an IFA you wouldn't have anything left to save!

    One final time...

As a couple your options are:

£60K in Santander paying 3% AER
£30K in BoS paying 3% AER
£12K in TSB paying 5% AER
£7.5K in Nationwide paying 5% AER
£12K in Tesco paying 3% AER
£15K in Club Lloyds paying 4% AER
    £9K in YB/CB paying 2% AER

That's a total of £145.5K making 2-5% AER. All have conditions attached, and you'll find these on their respective websites.

You already have some of these accounts, so just fill the ones you don't have.

    To your questions:

Q1. You need more than one Tesco SAVINGS account because some of the accounts above require two different DD mandates. There's also no maximum number of linked accounts. As I've told you before, I've had as many as 9 nominated accounts on mine.

Q2. Bearing in mind the list of accounts, and interest rates, provided above, have already been provided to you on numerous other occasions, surely you can see that you should fill up 5% accounts before 4% accounts, and 4% before 3% etc? Re Lloyds, you've been told time and again that its Club Lloyds. Its the only current account they have that pays interest. Why is it "confusing"?
