Another NSD for me ( hubby went to football today and I stayed in an watched 2 DVDs after doing the housework and whilst doing the ironing - he then took me out to dinner).
That makes 5 in a row. Will tomorrow be six in a row?2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Evening all, sorry I haven't been about much this week, I've been super busy at work, OH was away with work mid-week which he wasn't too happy about, I've had more meetings than hours to have them in this week and on top of it some furniture I ordered finally arrived on Fri...damaged. Was somewhat the straw that broke this stressed camel's back, even though it's not exactly life and death in the scheme of things. Really must try and relax over it all.
So, where am I with NSD, well the result of not even getting a lunch break means two more in the week, would have had one yesterday but we went out in the evening (rolling home at 2.30am) and today was a bit of grocery shopping but from the house budget soooo....i'm up to NSD #4

:hello: Evening all NSDers
In a bit earlier tonight; feeling absolutely shattered this lost of shifts and still got one to go tomorrow...............daren't drink any more coffee as I won't sleep tomorrow if I do so I've come on here a bit early then need to find something to do that involves getting up and moving about a bit. Trouble is when I do that my head goes and starts thinking about all the things I should be doing at home :rotfl:
Good news is I have got to number 3 today. I was hoping for one tomorrow (Sunday) but it looks like I may need more electric before Wednesday when I'm having my hair done...............if I do I'll get train tickets for the end of the month too so I don't lose a day, will also encourage me not to spend anything on Monday due to being tired and finishing my run of shifts, we shall see....if it will last until Monday it could be an excuse for chocolate..............nooooooooo stop thinking like that; think I'm rambling cos I'm tired so will shut up now
See you tomorrow
:hello:

Yesterday turned out to be a proper nsd,as I didn't go to the shops in the end.In fact i didn't even get dressed.I do need to get some fresh air,but it looks so blinkin' cold out there.I also have some bird food to put out.
It would be nice to be on a real safari.
Today will be another,so that's me at #5 now.
I might try and get my 'in a row' now as well.
eta still got to go through some posts, will get the numbers up in a wee while.0 -
Apparently The Cauldron of Doom now lies in a sea of mud,and some wild pigs are having a great old time.
Nargle, can I please borrow your Spongebob wellies to wade out there and deposit the latest batch of nsds?Hubert is in no state to trot out there;he's nursing a bit of a sore head....Agent Mankini I told you not to give him all that beer. He's got a very delicate constitution and beer and curried pilchards do not mix well.:eek:
Igor,so good to see you!I trust that preparations for today's 'Safari Buffet' are going well?It does sound like fun...I wonder what culinary treats there'll be for us?Ah,the theme is 'The Hairy Lion King' meets 'The Naked Biker';interesting....:rotfl:
Now,could I please a cup of Lapsong Souchong and some Panadol and then I'll make all the lovely hippo napkins.
Feel free to add the next thrilling installment!0 -

NSD #6 for me
:)
I have fashioned a pair of stilts from some wood I found lying around and the string ties from a couple of luminous pink and green bikini tops (sorry don't know who they belong to) and I am going to TRY and make it to the cauldron to pop in my NSD. If I don't make it out please send in some brandy and a rope. Yes Hubert you can help pull me out

I joined the board years ago and have been an avid reader - but have had a family happening this year that could mean our money gets out of control - we are debt free but hubby suggested getting a credit card for emergencies - but I have said I will sort finances and we can perhaps not even get a card
so I have a spread sheet onto which I am putting all our expenditure for this month then using that to see where we ca make savings
so this month I will start with no spend days
as I havent looked at when the dd come from the account I am going to make a target of 15 days - this might not be achievable seeing as how the month has started but we will see
so can I be added for 15 days please and 5 consecutive days
thank youEmergency fund £10,000
Several categories with savings in
Cars, house maintenance, birthdays
Etc I have about 10 categories
Really happy to be debt free after being a compulsive spender0
